Long-necked Karen

I have been scanning slides taken ten years ago from a Karen refugee camp close to Mae Hong Son Thailand.
I purchased some rope from a vendor and gave it to the younger girls to use as a skipping rope.
They soon began showing their skills at jumping rope.
Digital cameras would have made the exercise in doing this type of photography much easier.
The days of shooting slide film always produced a few missed shots that were not discovered until the slides came back from the developer. Digital allows us to know immediately if you have the photo you envisioned.
